Tiene una extensión territorial aproximada de 4,827.3 kms2 y una población de 173,190 habitantes según los datos del Censo Nacional de Población levantado en 1990. La densidad de población, de acuerdo a la misma fuente, es de 35.1 habitante por km2.

Museo del Caño

El parque arqueológico de El Caño de Natá es uno de los sitios para conocer y palpar los rasgos históricos y culturales de la provincia de Coclé. Los hallazgos arqueológicos demuestran que el territorio coclesano fue habitado desde principios del cuarto milenio aC. Sus habitantes se dedicaban a la práctica de la agricultura, la caza y la pesca y acudian a la guerra cuando era necesario.

La sala de exposición se encuentra ubicada en una casa construida de estilo colonial español, situada en los terrenos del sitio arqueológico, frente a los montículos funerarios.

The archaeological park of Natá's Tube is one of the sites(places) to know and to feel the historical and cultural features of Coclé's province. The room of exhibition is located in a house constructed of colonial Spanish style, placed in the areas of the archaeological site(place), opposite to the funeral mounds.
